I remember this guy from Dory Funk Sr.'s territory, Abilene, Tx, as a matter of fact. Just wondering if anyone had any recent info. on him, thanks.

I remember Hank James wrestling in the Detroit area in the late 1960's. He lost most of the time, but then changed his image a little, he became Hank "The Money man" James, and received a bigger push.

When was he in Texas?

I remember Hank as "Hurricane" Hank James, a face who lost a lot. Then he became "Big Money", a heel who won a little bit. I remember him first teaming withand then fueding with "Tiny" Tim Hampton (later "Traitor" Tim). Did he wrestle as Bob Brazil's brother or was he actually Bobo's brother?

Hank James was in Texas in the early 70's. I remeber him being on T.V. out of Abilene/San Angelo, Tx. My grandmother used to take me to the Tarrant County Coliseum in Abilene. He went against Dory Funk Sr. and Don Slattan(sp) aka "The Lawman". He was a very much hated "heel" by the fans. He, also had a mgr. named "JOJO", had a big afro. Never got involved a whole lot, but was a good mgr. none the less.

G'day tlyne!
He was actually billed for years as Bobo Brazil's brother, but I have no idea whether he was or not. (Hank Harris? Sounds like a better ring name than Hank James!)

Mr. Wonder ful I think tlyne meant Tiny Tim Hampton, when he mentioned being billed as Bobo's brother. I rememeber Tiny Tim Hampton being announced as being from the same city as Bobo. They were similar in size also. Does anyone know?

No I meant Hank James. I don't remember any stories about Hampton being Brazil's brother, but he might have been billed that way at some time.
