Reading goofy comments on social media about how WWE needs to buy the rights to the Bullet Club.

Uhhh...

...They do realize The Bullet Club was just a brand New Japan came up with because they could no longer use the nWo, right?

And if WWE wanted to, they could bring back the nWo.

WWE already owns "the real Bullet Club."

New Japan would be wise to blow up the Bullet Club before it really becomes the new nWo. They've already started adding D level talent like Adam Page, so all they need now, is their own ref and a Yujiro to start yelling something about being rowdy and that'll be that.

It seems like there's a whole new crowd of NJPW fans in the US thanks to the AXS show; they seem more like anime/gamer types. The Bullet Club shirts, including the Young Bucks and Omega variants, sold out at both malls by me, and I've seen a few pretty normal-looking guys and two actual females wearing them. I'm just glad to see NJPW guys making some money.

Really? So you'd blow something up that was just cleared for nation wide distribution at Hot Topix? It has done so well in fact that their first release sold out with in days and the distribution has been increased dramatically.

The last 12 months has actually seen an increase in t-shirt sales for New Japan. They've been smart to market new additions, which has brought new designs.

Their expansion into the US has brought a whole new set of fans, and yes it's a niche audience. It's a audience that spends money.

In fact I just got back from NXT. Bullet Club shirts were easily, far and away the number one shirt among the 2,500 fans that were there. Next would have been Defy Wrestling, and third would have been WWE tees.
