Did Ole Anderson and Stan Hansen ever wrestle as a tag team in Japan? Did they ever face Baba and Tsuruta in the U.S.?

When Dusty broke Ole's leg in early 1986, Ole went to Japan and teamed with Hansen a few times.

They faced Tsuruta and Tenryu in Atlanta in 1982, but not Tsuruta and Baba.

Ole & Stan did team with Ted DiBiase against Baba, Tsuruta, and Tenryu in Niigata on January 4, 1986. It went the time limit.

Ole working stiff and getting all the offense in for 5 straight minutes then Tenryu wins with only one minute of offense at the end. Never can understand the Japanese booking.

Gotta say Ole never impressed me as a wrestler. He came off as a brawler but didn't have a brawler's size. Didn't exhibit much in the way of wrestling moves.

Ole was a lot bigger than some people think. At one time he was 270 pounds and he was pretty powerful at lifting weights too. His style was to maul his opponent using more wrestling and smothering his opponent and controlling them.
