http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/wwf-meadowlands-71584/#.V9PfQZgrLIV

One half of a double main event from the Meadowlands sees Hulk Hogan team with the massive Andre the Giant to tackle Dick Murdoch, Adrian Adonis and Big John Studd in a handicap match. The other half sees a bloody brawl between Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka. Mil Mascaras and Paul Orndorff also take part in under card action. Gorilla Monsoon provides the hyperbolic commentary, with some real whoppers along the way.

A friend and I watched some old tapes.

A bunch of JCP from 88....Ronnie Garvin vs Flair set up. Man...anyone who doesn't understand why Ronnie was chosen....hot angle and the fans were going ape! The episode where Flair beats Jackson with the figure 4 in a minute..and Ronnie comes out...which brings out the Horsemen...Ronnie valiantly fights them off before the numbers game...then RnR's, Dusty, Barry, Jimmy and Nikita make the save.....and an awesome Cornette interview about the Mulkeys...highlights of the MX vs the Garvins with Flair interfering...and Lex vs Dusty highlights of the Dusty finish for the US title.

Then some Mid-South...Jake vs Taylor number 1 contender match...both faces...great match...then highlights of Slater vs Jake with Dark Journey in the cage for the North American title...then a hotly contested Eddie Gilbert vs Koko match...a Blade Runner squash with Steve Dollar taking the pin. Man...Warrior's stuff was feeble looking....and a great best of 3 falls with the Fabs vs the Guerreros.

Then some Georgia stuff...the Mr. Wrestling II vs Killer Brooks and Larry Z angle....II's stuff was less than stellar...ring and mic.

Finished the night with a Bulldogs early years squash against Goldie Rogers and Barbie in MLG.

Great night of wrestling!

Watching WM VI. In all honesty, aside from Warrior/Hogan, this card is an absolute train wreck. I guess this is what happens, when you only focus the booking on the main event.

Watching a series called 'Quarry'. There's one episode left in Season 1.

Premise is a guy returning from Vietnam who gets mixed up with the wrong type of people in Memphis.

It's very good, most interesting thing I've seen in quite a while. Probably my favourite show since Narcos Season 1.
