Keep ,em coming.

This paricular one is well done on Youtube so I saw it almost completely - still enjoyed reading.

HTM is my favorite - next to Sheikybaby and Jamiee Dundee.

Those two are offcourse too much for this board - but I remeber Jim Brunzell being surpriseing good.

Maybe Jumping Jim next ?

Brunzell lost his debut match on December 28th of that year to Dennis Stamp.

I didn't know he was booked...

Lot of stuff I don't buy there, and a lot of errors. Benoit and company asked for their releases before they put the belt on Benoit, not the next day. Magnum went to Mid-South in between Florida and JCP, so if anyone stole him, it was Watts.

I saw the trailer for that and couldn't tell how much was Graham bs-ing for effect, or how much he believed.

Meanwhile, while I'm sure Dusty leaving did a lot of damage to Florida, haven't I read here that there were other problems that may have led to Eddie's suicide and financial issues?

He called Rhodes leaving "15%" of the reason Eddie killed himself.

Yeah, except the version I heard oneither a podcast or shoot interview was that Slater and Dark Journey had been an item, then split. Sting gave her a ride to the arena, after Slater left her hanging and Slater went off after seeing them together at the arena. That version made it sound like Sting just gave her a lift, not that they were "an item."

Interesting that when he chooses his roster, he keeps Nash, Hogan, and Sid but not Goldberg.

"Buddy Landell overslept during a early TV taping once Dusty took over and Tully Blanchard ended up getting his spot and a mega push."

This doesn't add up. Landel was in Mid South when Dusty took over as JCP booker in 1984. Blanchard was already in the promotion and getting a strong push right off the bat.

My guess is they meant that Buddy Landell getting fired trigged Tully Blanchard getting the National Title and a renewed push.

This one I'd like to see, even though I didn't see the WWWF until 1982. Martel is a great interview; fun, but without pretensions or axes to grind.

I first saw Robert teaming with his brother, on the Memphis syndicated show, before the R n R Express was formed. As I recall, brother Ricky did most of the talking there, too.

Missy did Cornette's podcast and was fantastic. She is a real fan and is entertaining as heck when she talks about wrestling. Stray from that and you get all of the BS.

Actually, the idea of Missy Hyatt and Stan Hansen sounds like comedy gold. Except that was WCW, so you know they would have screwed it up. I wouldn't be surprised if Hansen said no, given how he protected his persona for Japan.

Jim Corny Q & A

It's bizarro world Jim Cornette as he defends Vince Russo and praises TNA. We also learn what angle enraged Corny so much he soiled himself, how little NWA Vince McMahon actually watched, how he learned to cut such great promos, what angle drove him to quit being a manager, and of course Jim Herd, Kevin Dunn, WCW and other topics earn scorn ...

-How long did Cornette stay in OVW?

-Is their anyone on the OVW apron I should know? If he would have given the same speech 8 years earlier you would have seen WWE's future roster.

-Thanks for showing the Santino clip. Corvette over did it as Santino looked like a random fan in a dark arena.

Looks like he ran OVW for around 5 years.

The OVW clip appears to be from his later brief OVW run, where they were basically just an indy.
