Even Pat Robertson thinks it’s extreme...... straight out of bizzaro world

Never thought I would agree with Pat Robertson

Wonder if Pat has a string of 18 year olds he’s knocked up?

I'd love to see a list of all of the Republicans who are pushing this stuff who have either forced or paid for their mistresses to have abortions.

I think if they can sentence doctors who provide the service to 99 years, to rich white guys who pay for them should face a firing squad.

These extreme votes are grass roots driven. The local nut jobs work like crazy to get their people elected. ABORTION is the only issue that interests them. If any of these people had voted against this, they’d be gone next election. Personally, I’d be gone. I couldn’t vote for insanity like this.

Those are they same people who whine about LGBTQ rights being forced on them. It's only okay when they do the forcing.

The pastor in Tennessee that got the slap on the wrist for raping his 14 year old daughter probably hates abortion.

what is the difference between Sharia law which forces women to live under someones religious views and these laws which do the same?

When I said that was the most ignorant thing I ever heard, I didn't realize you were still talking.

If Alabama wants to bring in sharia law, it will need to liberalise a bit...

To the first question, what is the difference? Well, it is different degrees of the same thing, sure.

Sharia law itself varies too. Saying Alabama needs to liberalise if it wants to bring in Sharia Law is an insult to people (particularly women and homosexuals) in many parts of the world who are practically born into a life of slavery with virtually no real human rights.

Does Alabama allow rapists to skate if they agree to marry their victims?

Does Alabama legally entitle a daughter to half the share of inheritance as a son?

There's plenty more examples. I'm sure Alabama is far, far from perfect ant there are religious nitwits pulling the strings. But it aint the same. And I'm always skeptical with the American religious nitwits on whether or not they actually believe in the religious stuff they spout. I may have mentioned I spent some time in Saudi Arabia. I never had those doubts there.

White female governor signed the bill.
Also proposed/written by a female for what it's worth.

Not sure what to make of it. They waited for GA to go first so I suspect it was just Gov. Kay playing to whatever she feels her base is.

Even with the new justices in place there is no way this is going to reverse Roe V. Wade in the Supreme Court if a circuit court doesn't shut it down first. They know this so just a 'dog and pony show' to say 'we tried'.

Roe v. Wade was decided by nine 'old white men', so there is also that.

Alabama is sort of a messed up place to figure how a vote will go. We have this pass a week or two after passing legalized medical marijuana. Also, Gambling Machine bill just failed but Daily Fantasy Sports passed the state senate.

redwinepolitics tweeted "Want to prove how principled these people really are about the sanctity of life? If out of state colleges refused to play Alabama in football until the Anti-Abortion Bill was lifted, it would be repealed in a nanosecond."

Exactly, hit those wrinkly GOP codgers where it hurts most, the one thing they can take pride with in living there.

“Handmaids Tale” book/tv series is becoming part of the official GOP policy platform

So some teenager gets assaulted, forced to have baby and then GOP will cut any social welfare programs for a teenager with a baby she was forced to have against her will and then point fingers at her and call her a welfare queen????

The complete hypocrisy
