Bob Sweetan has left the World Class Championship Wrestling territory. He turned the American Television Title back to the office.

On the February 3, 1985 episode of "Championship Sports", Masked Superstar won a battle royal to become the new American Television Champion.

WCCW held up the Texas Heavyweight Title when Tully Blanchard left the promotion.

Roddy Piper won a battle royal in San Antonio on March 11, 1985 to get the chance to wrestle Kevin Von Erich for the Texas belt.

On March 12, 1985, in Fort Worth, Piper beat Kevin for the Texas Title.

On the March 31st "Championship Sports" TV program, The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn/Stan Lane) beat The Spoiler/The Assassin for the American Tag Title

In Ft. Worth on April 16, Scott Casey beat Masked Superstar for the American Television Title.

In Lubbock on April 16, Kevin Von Erich beat Roddy Piper to regain the Texas Title.

On July 5,1985, Magnum T.A. defeated Austin Idol for the National Heavyweight Title in Atlanta, Ga. at the Georgia State University Sports Arena.
