Though I have found real identities of the Arkansas Scufflers Pappy, Sleepy and Sis, I have not found anyone make any conclusions with the identity of Dopey.

I found one article that described him as "the muscle" and had a picture. -

ideas?

6/8/39 Joplin Globe says Dopey was Canadian and had to return home. But they only mention a trio.

Can you provide more info on the other three and what paper the photo is from. I'm also curious when they started appearing. I don't see much before 1937.

That being the case, how's this photo likeness?

Well from what I can tell,

Pappy was Tony Bernardi an experience hand and promoter/matchmaker in the midsouth area as well as working a cop gimmick.

He worked with Tuffy Cleet in the Arkansas area before Tuffy became SLEEPY.

Then there was Dopey and Sis who escorted the men to the ring. I believe after some success, they added Doc and Grumpy.

Obviously a lot of their stuff is in California, but also I found some great stuff in Oregon.

This photo in the Statesman Journal (Salem Oregon) from Sep 13 '38 has a lot of info packed into it:

For what it's worth, Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in December 1937 and was in general release by February 1938.

Can anyone tell who Doc (far right) might have been?
